In addition some of the advertisement pages (printed on different paper and glued in, rather than being fully bound in) have been lost over the years. The remainder of the directory is complete and comprises: Public officers & offices; Parochial information; Churches, chapels, institutions &c; Street Directory; Private Residents (alphabetical list of); Commercial Directory (alphabetical list); Professional and Trades Directory.
The area covered is roughly from Totteridge on the north to Turners Wood and Bishops Wood on the south, and from Fortis Green on the east to the River Brent on the west.
Some of the scanned pages appear to be skewed and/or warped. This is a feature of the original book rather than the scanning process.
