As with many of these directories, the map was missing from the partially disbound copy used for scanning when we obtained it. In addition, the last four pages (555 to 558) of the short Professional & Trades Directory section were missing (the final category on page 554 is Scholastic). The remainder of the directory (more than 650 scanned images) is complete and comprises: Rochester Topography and Official Information; Rochester, Strood and Frindsbury Street Directories; Chatham Topography and Street Directory; Rochester, Strood, Chatham & Frindsbury Private Residents and Commercial Directories; Gillingham Topography, Street Directory, Private Residents Directory and Commercial Directory; Neighbourhood Directories; Professional and Trades Directory.
Includes: Frindsbury, Upnor, Old Brompton, Cuxton, Higham, Hoo St. Werburgh, Luton (within Chatham), Rainham and Wouldham.

Some of the scanned pages appear not to be straight. This is a feature of the original book rather than the scanning process.
